Junior Accountant

A well-known company in the manufacturing sector is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its accounting team based in Anjou, in the east end of Montreal.
The company is growing and is in the process of centralizing its accounting operations.
You will join a human-sized team and, under the supervision of the Controller, you will take part in the department’s daily activities: invoicing, reconciliations, AP/AR, support for month-end close and other operational tasks.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys learning, growing, and working in a technical, stable, and collaborative environment.

• Salary between $60,000 and $70,000

• Process customer and supplier invoices
  
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Take part in inventory reconciliations
• Analyze general ledger accounts and variances
• Provide support for monthly and annual closing
• Participate in accounting process improvement projects

• 3 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of production costs, inventories, and variances
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Proficiency with an ERP system; experience with Advantage is a strong asset
• Proactive and curious mindset
